Terms of Service

Effective May 19, 2026

Agreement

These Terms govern your use of Ringbook (“the Service”), operated by Datasamy, Inc., a Delaware corporation (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By signing up or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

The Service

Ringbook is a bilingual AI answering service for US-based service businesses (HVAC, plumbers, mobile detailers, pressure washers, and similar trades). Sam, the AI agent, answers inbound calls on the operator’s behalf, books appointments into a connected calendar, and sends an SMS summary to the operator after each call.

Google Calendar access

When you connect a Google account, Ringbook requests access to your Google Calendar so the agent can check your availability and book appointments. We read free/busy times to find open slots and create calendar events for the appointments your callers book. We do not read the contents of existing events, and we do not use your Google data for advertising or to train AI models. Ringbook’s use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can revoke this access at any time from your Google account settings or by disconnecting the calendar in Settings. See our Privacy Policy for how calendar data is handled.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18, located in the United States, and authorized to act on behalf of the business you sign up. The Service is currently English- and Spanish-language and intended for US service businesses only.

Account + responsibility

You’re responsible for safeguarding your login, the accuracy of the business information you provide, and the use of the Service by anyone on your team. You agree not to use the Service for unlawful purposes, to harass, spam, or send unsolicited communications, or to circumvent telecommunications regulations.

SMS terms

By providing your phone number and signing up, you consent to receive SMS messages from Ringbook at that number. These messages include:

  • Per-call summary SMS (one per inbound call your agent answers)
  • Billing receipts and trial-ending reminders
  • Critical service alerts

Carrier message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe; reply HELP for assistance. Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of purchase. You confirm that any phone number you provide is yours or that you have authority to receive messages at that number on behalf of the business.

See our Privacy Policy for details on how SMS data is handled.

Pricing + billing

Plans are billed monthly via Stripe in US dollars. Each plan includes a 14-day free trial that does not require a payment method to start; you’ll be prompted to add a card before the trial ends. Per-minute overages above your plan’s included minutes are billed at $0.15/min. You can cancel anytime from the Settings → Billing tab; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Acceptable use

You will not (i) attempt to reverse-engineer the Service, (ii) use the Service to provide a competing answering service, (iii) impersonate any person or business, (iv) interfere with the Service’s operation, or (v) violate any applicable law, including the TCPA, CAN-SPAM Act, and FCC regulations on automated calling and texting.

Termination

You can cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice when practicable. On termination, your call data is retained for 30 days for export, then deleted per our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or that the AI agent will always answer or handle a call correctly. You remain responsible for honoring booked appointments and responding to callers when the agent escalates to you.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco, California, except that either party may bring an action for injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email and take effect 30 days after notice. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
